His Word Is Light
“NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalms 119:105)
“In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” (John 1:4-9)
Welcome to a study in God's Word.
This website is intended to educate the reader about Jesus Christ. Through God's Word the reader can learn about the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. By reading the Bible the reader has the opportunity to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and will receive eternal life. This website also contain many articles, studies, and teaching about Bible scripture and will cover a wide range of topics. I pray these articles will both bless and educate the reader.
The Plan of Salvation
There is a good chance you have heard of God and of his son, Jesus Christ. There is also a good chance you have heard the term saved, born again, or converted. What is salvation? It starts with "believing"! Click here to learn more.
Do you need a Bible?
Many of us today have a smartphone that is either an iPhone or Android device. Many of us also have a computer, laptop, or tablet. There are several Bible applications that can be downloaded and installed instantly. Of course I strongly recommend and advise that you read and study the Bible using an "Authorized Version" or often called a "King James Version" Bible. Many other editions of the Bible, while the intent of the publisher may have been good, are not accurately translated and some even change the meaning of the Bible all together. I will cover Bible translations in a separate article later. Here are two separate Bible applications or programs that can be used on your smartphone, tablet, PC or MacBook. I use e-Sword and highly recommend it for serious Bible study.
